Producing visual assets in an active, fast-paced medical environment is among the most challenging work we undertake at Studio Thirteen. No matter how much planning goes into a project, the dynamic nature of a hospital setting requires teams to adapt quickly to changing circumstances. Success in these environments depends as much on flexibility as it does on preparation.

That flexibility proved essential when TRIMEDX contracted with Studio Thirteen to capture both photography and video content of one of its local Indianapolis teams in action.

TRIMEDX is an industry-leading independent clinical asset management company that helps healthcare providers manage and optimize clinical equipment. Through clinical engineering, asset management, and cybersecurity expertise, TRIMEDX supports safe, reliable care delivery while helping health systems improve performance and make smarter equipment decisions.

The production day began in the hospital’s clinical engineering shop, where Studio Thirteen and TRIMEDX worked together to capture the team in action. Medical equipment was repaired, evaluated, and calibrated as technicians and supervisors collaborated as a team, while additional visuals documented associates working independently across a range of devices. From the shop, the teams then moved into patient care areas to capture professional portraits for recruitment and employer-branding initiatives, along with candid interactions throughout the facility, including hallways, reception areas, and collaborative workspaces.

The project’s objective was to create a comprehensive library of photography and video assets that could support TRIMEDX’s marketing, recruiting, and communications efforts. From pre-production planning through on-site execution, Studio Thirteen and TRIMEDX coordinated closely to balance creative goals with the realities of working in an active hospital environment. Through shared preparation, collaboration, and flexibility, the teams delivered a collection of authentic, impactful visual content.
