If you’ve followed our work for some time, you know referrals are incredibly important to us and count for a large portion of our business throughout the year. Our team works hard to make new connections, build relationships with current and potential clients and are intentional in supporting those we meet to help them reach their own personal and professional potential.
Our portfolio of event work has grown exponentially in recent years and referrals are largely in part to thank for that. Shelby Abner, Community Relations Manager for the Town of Brownsburg was kind enough to think of Studio 13 when it was time to capture the Williams Park Watermill Splash Pad. At 77 acres, Williams Park is the largest in Brownsburg boasting a crushed stone nature trail, six shelters, multiple playgrounds, basketball courts, open grass space, and a paved track around the perimeter of the park.
Developed by Kramer Companies, Watermill Splash Pad was an amazing addition to this already impressive space and we were thrilled to capture the grand opening day and ribbon cutting. Our team has years of experience capturing corporate events from grand openings and ribbon cuttings to groundbreakings and team building events and holiday parties. We’ve done it all, but this project felt extra special. Seeing real members of the community in attendance and excited for the new addition to the park made us feel honored to be a small part of a space that would be so impactful to the people of Brownsburg.
Our dedicated and experienced team member, Lisa, was on site to capture the day. From the community and town officials arriving at the park, to speakers, ceremonies and Brownsburg residents experiencing the new splash pad for the first time. Here’s what our client said about working with Studio 13:
“Lisa probably talked to every single person at the ribbon-cutting on Saturday! Everyone adored her. She has a great way of making everyone feel special and blends in well with our team. I personally appreciate her attention to detail – she was thinking a couple of steps ahead of me and ready to stage photos. Lisa also captured things that we didn’t include in the shot list but ended up needing in the next couple of days, like photos of the mechanical building and the activation button. Thank you!”
Trusting us with any project means the world to us but being surprised with a rave review after a personal and intimate event like this means even more. Yes, we take quality imagery, deliver in a timely manner, remain professional and cooperative from start to finish, but photography is so much more. It’s coordinating people, thinking ahead, anticipating needs, making everyone involved feel welcome, being friendly, getting involved ourselves and so much more. Our Studio 13 team strives to bring this level of professionalism and value to every client project and event.
Thank you to everyone involved in such a special day! We cannot wait for the next one.
