Some creative projects take a little more planning, coordination, and collaboration than others. This was certainly one of those projects. With so many moving parts and talented people involved, bringing the vision to life of the new Republic Airways Corporate Headquarters in Carmel required thoughtful coordination and teamwork every step of the way. We had the pleasure of collaborating with two new clients along with a returning client.
Our first client was Ratio, an architecture firm that designs to shape environments of purpose, beauty, and meaning. Ratio believes that understanding and caring about a place is to know its history, people, culture, and ecology. They believe all of this is fundamental to design. When it comes to shaping deeply relevant design solutions they understand it requires specialized knowledge and expansive thought. To them design is a collective experience. They believe in practicing a transparent process with their clients and communities where all perspectives are welcome, and everyone can move toward impactful creative solutions together. Ratio has various studios located in Indianapolis, Chicago, Denver, Raleigh, Champaign, IL, and Milwaukee.
The second client in this project was Section 127, which is a strategic creative studio where event branding and experiential design and brand identities come to life. At Section 127 their design builds to a moment, resonates in real time, and delivers a lasting impression for every brand they work with. They have worked on national championships, facility rebrands, and fully immersive venue experiences. They have an extensive project list such as Republic Airways Headquarters, 2025 WNBA All-Star Game, 2025 NCAA Men’s Final Four, 2025 NCAA Women’s Final Four, and many more. Section 127 approaches every new event branding, experiential graphic design, and identity systems project the same way.
The final client was our longtime client F.A. Wilhelm Construction, which is a legacy Contractor and Construction Management company capable of a diverse range of work. They are proud of their 100 plus years of experience and uncompromising quality of work on projects across the country. They excel in providing a variety of construction services, such as general construction, design-build, preconstruction, and construction management. From ground-up builds and renovations to integrated design-build services, meticulous preconstruction planning, and comprehensive construction management, all of which is handled with precision and excellence. They believe in fostering meaningful relationships and supporting their clients throughout the entire process. Their portfolio of work includes industries such as athletics, hospitality, life sciences, healthcare, manufacturing, and many more.

To keep daily operations running smoothly, we decided to capture this project over the course of a weekend. Our contact at Republic Airways was incredibly helpful and gracious in providing our team with the access we needed. Working with multiple clients meant balancing several unique marketing and branding goals, making pre-production and collaboration especially important. We developed a comprehensive shot list for each floor, noting which images would include people and which would be captured without them.
The shoot required early mornings for sunrise images, full days of interior coverage, and multiple return visits. When weather prevented us from capturing the afternoon exteriors, we returned a third day to complete the remaining shots and ensure every client’s objectives were met. Despite the logistical challenges, this was an incredibly rewarding project. We were grateful to work with both new and returning clients on such a prestigious project.
