Sometimes in photography, not every project has the ability to progress in a linear fashion, and there are many factors that contribute to that. For this large-scale project involving four different clients, we had to coordinate around construction schedules, the delivery and installation of interior furnishings, and the movement of hundreds of stunning luxury vehicles. Our role was to work seamlessly around all of those moving pieces while ensuring we met the unique expectations and standards of each client.
The lead client on this project was Progress Studio, an award-winning architecture and interior design firm founded by Joseph Lese. For Progress Studio, design is personal—it should be thoughtful, intentional, and executed with refined taste to create environments that are both functional and inspiring. From healthcare and wellness spaces to commercial and residential projects, they approach every detail with collaboration, creativity, and purpose, helping bring each client’s vision to life in a way that reflects who they are and how they work.
Beyond architecture and interior design, Progress Studio also offers services ranging from site planning and zoning to immersive 3D virtual walkthroughs. Their team of professionals provides generative design, space planning, finish selections, site plan studies, regulatory research, local approvals, and project timeline planning. At Progress Studio, they are committed to delivering exceptional results that consistently exceed their clients’ expectations.

Our second client was Carson Design Associates, a firm that offers an intricate network of services designed to provide cohesive solutions while considering every aspect of a project. Their integrated approach encourages collaboration across architecture, interior design, and facility management, increasing the likelihood of a successful outcome.
Carson Design Associates believes interior design is about much more than beautiful color palettes and interesting fabrics. To them, it is a process that transforms built environments into spaces that foster productivity, creativity, and purpose. Their team supports clients from the earliest concepts and design development through construction, furniture installation, and final placement. Whether delivering plans for new ground-up construction, revitalizing existing buildings, or helping clients determine the best path forward, Carson Design Associates provides expertise and thoughtful guidance every step of the way.
Our third client was Capital Construction, a company with more than 25 years of experience, licenses in 47 states, over 10,000 completed projects, and more than 50 self-performing crew members. As a dedicated general contractor, they partner directly with their clients to coordinate every phase of construction—from planning and scheduling to execution and completion.

Rather than serving as construction managers or developers, Capital Construction focuses exclusively on general contracting, allowing them to act solely in the best interests of their clients. This commitment provides clear budgets, realistic schedules, and practical solutions before construction even begins. Their team carefully selects, coordinates, and manages trusted subcontractors to ensure quality and accountability while providing on-site leadership and assuming full responsibility throughout the entire construction process. They actively oversee scheduling, costs, and quality control to consistently deliver projects on time and within budget.
Capital Construction has completed projects for companies such as Just Salad in Chicago, Starbucks in Indianapolis, HC Tavern + Kitchen in Fishers, and many others.
Last but certainly not least was UNLIMITED MOTORS. Owners Adel and Angela Elhaj are passionate automotive enthusiasts with more than 50 years of combined experience in the industry. They enjoy buying and selling a wide variety of vehicles while helping customers find the perfect car every day. Since opening in December 2006, UNLIMITED MOTORS has expanded to four dealership locations in Westfield, Fishers, Noblesville, and Elwood. They offer an impressive inventory of newer pre-owned vehicles ranging from Ferraris to Fords. Their business philosophy is simple: “Offer great cars at great prices, accompanied by impeccable customer service.” Together, Adel, Angela, and their team of 75 employees are proud to have helped more than 15,000 customers drive away in their dream vehicles. As a family-owned and operated business, they utilize advanced technology, specialized tools and equipment, and a highly skilled, detail-oriented team of technicians to thoroughly inspect and service every vehicle they sell.
Working with multiple clients—each with different goals and priorities—is common in architectural photography, and this project certainly kept us on our toes. Bringing together the architecture, interior design, and luxury automobiles into one cohesive visual story while satisfying the objectives of all four clients was both a challenge and an incredibly rewarding experience.
We approached the project in carefully planned phases. We began by photographing the exterior at sunrise, during the day, and again at sunset, requiring multiple trips to the location to capture the building in its best light.

Once construction was complete, we waited several months for the office furnishings to be installed and the full collection of vehicles to be moved into place. At that point, we photographed the east-facing interiors in the afternoon to better control the natural light entering each space before finishing with the remaining interior areas that were unaffected by direct sunlight.
Projects like this are exactly why we love what we do. Navigating complex environments, adapting to constantly changing conditions, and delivering imagery that satisfies multiple clients with different priorities is both challenging and incredibly rewarding. No matter how many moving parts are involved, we find a way to make it all come together.
