Over the last year and a half we have had the pleasure of working along side Ivy Tech and their marketing department to curate a library of images for marketing and advertising purposes. We were thrilled and honored that they asked us to take official portraits for their new president Dr. Marty Pollio!
Dr. Martin (Marty) Pollio is the 10th president of Ivy Tech Community College, leading Indiana’s largest public postsecondary institution, which serves more than 200,000 students annually. He oversees 19 campuses and nearly 7,000 employees while advancing the College’s Higher Education at the Speed of Life strategy to deliver 50,000 workforce-aligned credential completions each year. Dr. Pollio joined Ivy Tech on July 1, 2025, following a nationally recognized tenure as superintendent of Jefferson County Public Schools, where he improved graduation rates, postsecondary readiness, and achievement gaps while expanding career-connected learning. He holds degrees from Indiana University, Eastern Kentucky University, and the University of Louisville and has been honored with numerous state and national awards for educational leadership.
Ivy Tech Community College was founded in 1963 and is the No. 1 largest singly-accredited community college in the country. They offer thousands of students greater ways of reaching their dream goals, starting from applying to well-paid careers or acquiring one, to obtaining a financially friendly associate’s degree that can transfer credits to a four year degree. They offer over 70 programs such as cyber security, nursing, welding, and credential options for multiple career paths.
Ivy Tech grads are the No.1 associate-level nurses in the nation as well, and have access to 2,500 statewide employer partnerships that offer students training and job opportunities. Additionally, they give students the opportunity to have true hands-on learning experiences with modern equipment, state-of-the-art labs, and even internships and apprenticeship options. In return it will help better equip them for their future careers. Ivy Tech has employer connections to companies and hospitals such as Merino Law Firm, Parkview Health, Ball Memorial Hospital, and Consulting Management Inspection Design.

We set out to capture a dynamic mix of poses, expressions, and settings so the College would have a broad selection of images for many different uses. By moving efficiently between indoor and outdoor locations, we made the most of the president’s limited time. The collaboration with the Ivy Tech team made the session not only successful but genuinely enjoyable.
